Founded in 1995, NCCGS serves the rapidly growing and changing field of family research through education, shared accumulated knowledge and published genealogical information.

We meet on the fourth Thursday night of every month at

Collin County History Museum

300 E Virginia St, McKinney, TX 75069

at 6:45 PM for a few minutes of socializing followed by a program covering a broad range of Genealogical interests.  Please refer to our Events Page for more information about our quest speakers.

Meetings are Free and Open to the Public



OUR GOALS

  • Provide programs that teach individuals how to trace their family history.

  • Enlarge the collection of records in the genealogical area of the McKinney Public Library system.

  • Encourage the preservation of local history for charitable and educational purposes.
